So, I thought Tonsillitis was that wonderful little illness that royally torks off your tonsils and that it could only be resolved by saying hello to a scalpel. ...good thing I'm no doctor.
I think it was Monday I finally broke down and went to the doctor's for a really tripped out sore throat, because it wasn't really my throat that was sore and it only hurt like the dickens when I swallowed. My deductive reasoning said it was beyond toughing out.
So, bam, I've got Tonsillitis and if that wasn't enough, the doc told me it can morph into Mononucleosis, and unfortunately, I think it might be. Ug! I seriously do not have the time or patience for Mono. But we'll see what happens when I get done with my bottle of penicillin. Really, I've found a new respect for the stuff, haven't used it since before I could see over the counter, but man, I tell you what works like a charm for swollen glands and such.
On another note, my hubby swore into the Army today, so he had to take a little road trip to Montana yesterday. I misses him, but he'll be back tonight, YAY!

On yet another note,(I think by the time I get done I'll have a symphony composed), one of my siblings might be coming from Ohio to crash with us for a while. Kind of a long story, not getting into it. It'll be a blessing, for sure, for both parties. It'll also be an interesting experience.
Two more notes, and then I'm done promise! Next on the agenda, I've signed up for a writing course with Institute of Children's Literature. By the time I get done, I'll know how to write (duh) get myself published, outline, character sketch, magazine articles, the whole enchilada. I can't remember how many months the course is but I'll have a certificate and I think some kind of degree by the time I'm done. Sweet, neh?

Oh and I know some of you already know this but National Novel Writing Month is just around the corner. A time where writers everywhere join together for an insane mad dash for a 50,000 word novel, start to finish, Nov. 1st - Nov. 30th. It's free and it sounds like a lot of fun! If you're interested, here's the site:
[link] I'm working on a bazillion projects all at once. (Gee, wonder why I'm sick?) I swear it's feast or famine with me. And a shout out to all of you who responded to my last journal. Thank you so much for your kindness, encouragement and suggestions. They were appreciated! Y'all are awesome sauce!
I'm going to try and have Angie colored for Halloween. Kay, so, I think that's it! Toodles!
